Well, as the world did not end on the 21st, I suppose I should get on with some new drawings. I am working on a "City Map" at the moment. It is a map of all the Pubs, Taverns, Inns and places of 'Ill Repute' in the City of Luna. There are 250 in all, and I had a lot of fun thinking them all up. Now for the hard bit...the drawing.
I will post a 'story so far' picture later and you can see how it is coming along.
I have just posted a new picture called 'The Artists Studio'. It is a couple of years old but worth a look. It is in the possession of Mr Ben Askem who was kind enough to let me have an image of it for this website.
Cheers Ben.
I have added some new pictures, removed some old ones and reorganised the site a little. I have also added a new link to 'Original Canvases' a site run by an excellent artist called Ben Askem based in St Albans. Well worth a look.
I have also corrected some (all?) spelling mistakes.
I must say, re-doing this site has encouraged me to start drawing again. '24, George Street' was the last time I picked up a pen and that was back in June.
Well, we'll see what happens next.
Well...ain't been here for a while. So...what next? To start with I have posted larger pictures, and some new ones too. Also I have changed the style somewhat.
Someone described this picture as "Scary". I don't quite get that!

Some Pics. More later.
This is where it was held. A wonderful place!
Me, eyeing up Audry Hepburn! (and who wouldn't)
Some Pictures on display.
All my pictures were hung on the bottom rows of the displays. Not best placed to see all the little details. You almost had to get down on your hands and knees!
Some more pictures on display!
An interesting bit of decoration.
Me (trying not to look like a psychopath) and 'Wayward Street'.
This pic was taken by my sister Julie who, along with my Mum, came along to support us at our first big show.
I do have a first class family!!
I picked up a book to read today and found this written on the inside back cover. I wrote it months and months ago and forgot all about it.

Ode To Netto
I'm popping down to Netto for a tin of Netto Beans.
I don't like living dangerous, or living to extremes.
I don't want 'Waitrose Harricot With Sunblush Sauce" and things,
So I'm popping down to Netto for a tin of Netto Beans.
I'm sure the sauce is just the same as 'Sainsburys' or 'Mace'
I'm sure that Harrods beans are grown in quite a similar place.
So seven pence or two pound ten they're all the same it seems.
So I'm popping down to Netto for a tin of Netto beans.

I wonder if I should send it to Netto!
I have about three more little nonsense Poems to come so if you wouldn't mind indulging me!
This one came about when a white haired Priest walked past me as I was sitting on a bench.

Little white haired clergyman
Entirely black in dress
I cannot help but see you
as a half of Liffy's best.
Little white haired clergyman
I know I shouldn't think
That your flock is being preached to
by a little Irish drink.
If only you'd walked past me
In a coat or coloured shoes
I wouldn't look upon you
as a little glass of Booze

For those that don't know "Liffy's Best" is one of the many nicknames given to 'Guinness'
